Research Needs: To understand beauty enthusiasts collection habits.
Research Methods : Ethnographic studies, Card Sorting, In-person interviews
Length of Research: 3 weeks
Outcomes: Database of knowledge, interview recordings, video and photos of real users storing and collecting their cosmetics.
Feature Creation: A full collections tab within the app, organization tool and “Everyday” product flag featured throughout app.

Collection Flexibility
Collecting products is more nuanced than storage.
Product organization can change with time, learning more about the product and real life interactions with it.
Making the collection status flexible was a necessity for long term use of product.
